How did you get involved in the adult industry?
I entered the adult industry as soon as I turned 18. During high school I was criticized for the way I expressed my sexuality. I was labelled a “slut” for exploring my sexuality with too many men, and I was labelled a “lemon” (a derogatory term for a lesbian in Australia) for exploring my desires with women. Basically, no matter how I expressed my sexuality it was deemed as inappropriate. Pornography was the first place I saw women celebrated for their sexuality. So, I knew I wanted to get into the adult industry as soon as I saw my first porn film.
How did you decide to model for Penthouse?
I’ve always wanted to shoot for Penthouse. Being a Penthouse Pet is a dream come true. An old Penthouse Letters was actually one of the first adult magazines I got my hands on. It had gone on quite a journey before coming into my possession; being stolen from a stranger’s dad and passed along a chain of excitable boys before landing in my younger brother’s hands and finally being confiscated by me. I wasn’t interested in the stories or masturbating over the content, but I was fascinated by a photograph of a naked woman lying on her back and smiling directly into the lens. That image of a woman completely comfortable in her body and sexuality had a huge impact on me. The young teen magazines that I had been reading were all about fixing my inherent faults, the headlines told me to get a bikini body, get rid of zits, and buy this new makeup. But it seemed to me that porn was encouraging me to enjoy what I already had.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
I love being able to express and explore my sexuality on my own terms.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love swimming. I grew up on the beach, and I love being in the ocean. I never feel more at peace than when I am surrounded by water or embraced in a lover’s arms. I love being in nature, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking — basically anything outdoors that’s adventurous.
Could you ever be faithful to one partner?
I don’t demonstrate my loyalty through sexual exclusivity. I demonstrate my loyalty through being there for someone when it really counts.
What are your favorite sex positions?
I love any position where I can look deeply into my lover’s eyes. For that reason, missionary and cowgirl are my go-to faves.
What do you consider romantic?
I’m extremely romantic but not in a traditional roses, chocolate and monogamy kind of way. I’m very loving, sensual, empathetic and sentimental. I love to cuddle and connect deeply with someone, but I’m very cynical about “romance” as it is represented in consumer culture.
What do you think is the hottest movie sex scene?
I love the sex scenes in Gaspar Noé’s, Love.
What music gets you in the mood?
Different types of music get me in the mood for different types of sex. I love the raw grittiness of The Weeknd and Nine Inch Nails. But I also really like smooth jazz like Grant Green for a more chilled sexy vibe. But I don’t like listening to music when I’m actually fucking, I find it a distraction. I’d rather hear my lover breathing and moaning.
What is the biggest turn-on for you?
Passion and intellect.
